ANCHOR KIT IS NOT INCLUDED WITH CANOPY/PARTY TENT/GREENHOUSE/CARPORT (Hereafter canopy) Do not erect canopy on windy days without necessary anchor otherwise possible injury may occur. Canopy is not designed for storm or hold snow load. All canopies are designed for use as a temporary structure that assembles in minutes. After construction the canopy must be anchored to prevent damage against winds. If the canopy is not anchored, severe winds will cause the frame to flex and unanchored legs will fall collapsing the canopy. If severe winds (over 40mph) are expected, please remove the cover from the frame to prevent damage. The best way to anchor your canopy or (tent/greenhouse/carport) is with screw-in ground anchors and rope/cable attached to each leg. If you intend to secure your canopy more permanently you may want to a heavier cable. You may go to you local home improvement center, hardware store or any place that sells outside storage buildings. If your canopy rests on concrete, canopy feet will work. The are made of steel tubing with a plate welded on the bottom. There are holes drilled into the plate for easier bolting to the concrete. With screw-in anchors and rope and rope/cable are not used, all legs need to be bolted into the fitting at the top of each leg. INSTRUCTIONS OH INSTALLING ANCHORS 1. Measure out from each leg at least 36'' 2. Screw anchor into ground. Leave about 2 inches between the ground and the eye on each anchor. 3. Tie rope/cable around fitting on the top of each leg. 4. Tie other end of rope/cable to the anchor and pull tight. 5. Screw anchor until the bottom of the eye is flush with the ground. This will make the rope/cable tighter. 6. Check and tighten rope frequently.

1. For each Installation, the
Installer is solely responsible for evaluating the site and the proper
securing method determined. Some soils require different staking
or securing than that provided with the tent. Due to this
variety of soil conditions, these are the manufacturer's suggested sequence
of Installation procedures. OutdoorEdge's responsibility is limited to the
construction of the tent. We are not responsible for methods that Installers
may choose to secure the tent to the ground. 4. WARNING: Do not have fire or open flame close to the fabric. Do not use your barbecue grill under the shade structure. 5. Disclaimer -- OutdoorEdge disclaims and excludes all express
